YOU’RE THE BOSS, APPLESAUCE

(late post; written last 16 June 2010)

What comes to your mind every time you hear the word Senior? If I were to be asked, I could definitely say that as you reach that level in your academic year, you feel a lot more confident than ever. Like there’s this automatic mechanism in your body that makes you swagger down the corridor and say hi and smile to a lot of people you know of for the past three years (or even those you barely even know of). It’s as if you know the ins and outs of the university. You become more gutsy and nervous-free, to say--when it comes to meeting new teachers most especially when you find out that you’ll be under the same professor for most of your subjects which has been your same prof last year. Hee. Less fingers are now crossed, praying that you won’t meet a terror one. You’re familiar with most of the things around you, if not all.

That’s how it is--the stereotypical notion of a boss is now in your system. But oh, don’t you ever abuse that god-given right. K? K.
